About Us

Dr. PK Goel has 41 years of experience in Passenger Traffic Management and Freight, Logistics and Supply Chain Management with the Indian Railways (World’s largest carrier for passenger business) in various capacities and roles. During his professional career, he received number of awards for his distinct contribution to the organizations and supply chain domain. He received National IT Award for best IT usage given by Computer Society of India for Passenger Reservation System.

He was the founding Director Indian Railway Institute for Transport Management at Lucknow (spread over 70 acres Campus for training Class 1 officers). He designed and delivered the courses on Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain, Marketing and IT.

After retiring from railways services, he took over the responsibility of Dean head of Management School, GD Goenka University. As dean of the Management School, he was instrumental in putting in place all the systems and processes including:

  • Designing of the program and course curriculum for MBA, BBA, BCOM, BBA (entrepreneurship). Created more than 50 new industry oriented courses.
  • Teaching classes including supply chain management, service marketing, IT, Logistics management, sourcing management, operations management, art of start-up and also a new course from campus to corporate
  • MDPs and Consultancy projects. Management Development Program in supply Chain Management for mini ratna companies and consultancy project  for implementation of ERP in Paradip Port

He is the founder and managing director of PKGSC Consultants Pvt. Ltd. and has handled various prestigious assignments, that include:

  • Consultancy for Creation of Logistics Corporation of India (Translogistics) along with RITES; Business Planning for a Port; ERP implementation
  • Consultancy for Setting up of Safeducate a subsdiary for Safexpress created for education in Logistics
  • Corporate Training for change in logistics business on advent of DFCCIL
  • Corporate training of middle level officers of various organizations

He is a graduate from St. Stephens college, Master in Transport Economics from University of Leeds, UK, Phd in Economics and MBA in Marketing management.

Ashish Mendiratta

Ashish Mendiratta is a seasoned professional specialized in Supply Chain Management. His 25+ years of career includes working with a number of globally renowned and leading Indian organizations like Gillette, Nestle, BILT, Philips and Kohler. In his previous roles Ashish was Director-Supply Chain, Asia Pacific at Kohler and Director-Supply Chain, India & Pakistan at Philips. His last assignment was Director and Co-founder at Thinklink Learning Services Pvt. Ltd.

As part of industry experience, he realized a big and widening gap in the supply chain competency for many organization to deliver sustainable and measurable supply chain performance. He believes that competency development requires a structured and sustained effort. With this mission in mind, he quit his active corporate career to pursue his passion. Over last few years he has been actively engaged with well-known companies to deliver measurable outcomes using a comprehensive approach including competency mapping, assessment and development.

He has also coached many working professional through on the job projects. He has delivered guest lectures at MDI, FMS and been a visiting faculty at IILM. He attended a seminar in Case Teaching Method organized by Harvard Business Publishing. He is a certified trainer in the business simulation “The Fresh Connection” and certified Industrial & Commercial trainer by RTITB, UK.

He completed Masters in Industrial Engineering from NITIE in 1989 and holds a Bachelor of Technology degree from IIT Roorkee, 1988.
